Bio
I studied Photojournalism and Humanities at San Francisco State University, continuing my photography eduction at Eddie Adams Barnstorm and Foundation workshops, and industry associations such as APA, NPPA and others.
For me photography has been the best way to cultivate, engage, and grow from three decades' worth of variety of different people and life experiences.
I started my path as a professional photographer in the late 90’s shooting for notable music publications as a rock photographer and then photo editor.
When the dotcom bubble popped I focused on corporate environmental portraits for business publications and PR firms throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
With the media industry changes mid 2000’s I pivoted to portrait, studio and wedding clients.
In the 2010’s I focused back on tech and added art, education, and humanitarian non-profits as well.
In 2020 I started documenting the pandemic's impacts for healthcare and education and now shoot for UCSF as well as official photographer for the City of Alameda.
